Veda's Casual Headshot

My dream climate related job would be working with a permaculture farm that works to fight food insecurity. Ideally, I could be working on the farm as well as working with the community to provide cooking lessons that use the produce we provide. Recipes would be provided and printed out for future use, as well as providing substitutions for ingredients that may interfere with an individuals’ diet or finances. I want to work on getting nutritionally valuable food to people. There is so much food being mass produced that it is eventually thrown away. There are also so many people who don’t get an adequate number of meals a day. I would like to work to change this.

I am looking forward to collaborating with others in the same area of interest. This is a great opportunity to find other people who are excited about solving the climate crisis. I am excited to see everyone’s different areas of interest and experiences within these areas. Discussing sustainable ideas with people who hold similar ideals to me.
