My dream job is to play an integral role in and/or start my own farm that is run in regenerative way and that focuses on soil and ecosystem health. Soil health is vital to the success of climate movements and has the capacity to sequester an insane amount of carbon, as well as supporting ecosystems and food systems in a very direct way. I would love to live out this dream in Western Washington, the place that feels like home to me, and the community I feel the most welcomed in to.

In this certificate program I am looking forward to two big things. One is to get hands on experience practicing climate justice in our local community and getting to watch and work alongside climate leaders. The second is getting to experience this with a cohort of diverse backgrounds who share a value on climate justice. I am super excited to get to work alongside the same people for a year and a half and have the opportunity to build a little community around this program.
