My dream climate job looks like leading a team to help spread awareness, educate, and increase access to the outdoors. Outdoor activities such as rock climbing, skiing, and hiking have given me many of the best memories of my life and I want others to experience this as well. In my dream job I am working in a hands-on environment that gets me out in the field. This role is vital to my local community by providing access as well as lessening environmental impact.

With a school as big as Western it can be challenging to find tight knit communities. In this certificate program I am looking forward to building a community of people who share similar passions. I am also excited about learning leadership skills I can utilize to help further climate related projects. Most of all, I am stoked about spending the summer in Mazama, where I hope to make a positive impact on the local community.
