Sydney Lujan

Sydney is from Vancouver, Washington, just north of Portland, where she grew a love for the outdoors. She grew up playing volleyball and soccer and spending time outside with her family and friends. At SEI, Sydney works as the Communications and Engagement Specialist, communicating with the Western campus community and creating social media content. Sydney is a first-year graduate student in the Urban Planning and Environmental Sustainability program at Western. She is passionate about sustainable development, environmental justice and sustainable living.  

Sydney got her BA in Global Studies from Boise State University but is happy to be back in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. In her free time, you will find Sydney backpacking, snowboarding, traveling, biking or reading. Say hi if you see her at SEI or around campus!
