The Sustainable Office Certification Awards Celebration is an annual event, gathering SOC office staff, and the campus community to network, evaluate the program, and celebrate successes. Office working groups that have completed the certification process during the previous year are presented with a framed certificate, signed by President Shepard and the Dean or Vice President of their division. The campus community is welcome to attend, and soup from local seasonal ingredients is provided. The celebration event is scheduled during Sustainability Week each year.
SOC Annual Awards Celebration 2018
The Sustainable Office Certification’s annual awards celebration for 2018 was on Wednesday, March 7th from 6-8 pm in the SMATE education center. Associated Student offices and main campus offices came together to celebrate their accomplishments in sustainability for the 2017-2018 academic year. Attendees enjoyed ice cream and representatives from each office were awarded their certification plaques.
