Miyawaki Mini-Forest Trail Continuation Project

This project will connect Ivy Street and Billy Frank Jr Street via a new trail installation, and will increase accessibility and exposure to the LEAD Mini-Forest project site, which has been (and will continue to be) influential in community building, environmental education, and restoration work. In addition to community service-learning and educational benefits, this project will improve ecosystem services, soil health, carbon sequestration, and wildlife habitat, contributing to overall ecosystem health.
