Composting 101 is a series of composting workshops aimed at teaching students about food waste, soil ecology, and the local waste management system. Partipants will learn skills to harness food waste to make compost for use in personal or community gardens, increasing local soil fertility and engagement in our shared waste management systems. Funding goes towards purchasing composting buckets and materials for composting.

Student participants learn skills in composting, making it so that they can engage in waste management with greater agency and increase local soil fertility.
