Energy Dashboard Updates
Are you having difficulties seeing the graphs and charts
on the Energy Dashboard?
If you have recently gone to the Energy Dashboard site, then you likely have noticed that it appears that graphs or charts are not appearing. This is because data has not yet been uploaded for 2017.
If you want data for 2016, however, it is available. Just go to the “year” drop box at the top, click “2016” year, then click “generate” and the graphs/charts will appear. If you need current data for the 2017 year, just email me (Kailey MacLeod) at: email@example.com and I will get back to you promptly.
When you email me for 2017 data, please let me know:
- which building(s) for which you want data, and
- what data you need (costs/Kwh/total energy/which month(s)).
A new iteration of the Energy Dashboard is currently under construction by a group of computer science students for their senior project. The new interface will have an interactive widget, with data automation, to allow for readily available and easy to read data for Kwh usage, costs, and Co2 equivalents for the entire campus, and individual buildings. The new iteration will also have an export data feature, so we won’t have to deal with the issue of timely data entry and resolve the current issue of empty graphs/charts!
Also, if you are a student here on campus who have any questions, concerns, or ideas about what you would like to see on the new iteration of the Dashboard, or would like to work on an outreach project with me here on campus, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I would be thrilled to have your involvement!
